Township Blues Festival in Ridgeland to be headlined by Cedric Burnside

It’s almost Jackson’s lucky day: Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival returns for 42nd year
SUMMARY: The 42nd annual Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival will take place in downtown Jackson on March 22, drawing an estimated 70,000 attendees. The event features a “green Mardi Gras” parade, a children’s parade, a pet parade, and a lively afterparty. Festivities kick off March 15 with the “Run the Rainbow” race and continue with “The Stomp” on March 21. On parade day, the Family Festival begins at 9 a.m., followed by the MARL Pet Parade at 10 a.m. and the Children’s Parade at 11 a.m. Bluesman Jesse Robinson will be the Grand Marshal for the main parade at 1 p.m., with afterparty entertainment at Hal & Mal’s.

CBSB: Ole Miss surges, Southern Miss drops two spots in latest D1Baseball Top 25
