22nd annual Dudie Burger Festival happened this weekend in Tupelo

Road closure in Tupelo will start this Tuesday

Meridian Police Department releases a photo of the wanted suspect

SUMMARY: On Sunday afternoon, the Meridian Department responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of 36th Street around 5:15 p.m., where two individuals were shot. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, and one was later airlifted to . MPD Chief Deborah Young stated that the incident is considered isolated. Authorities, the Marine Police Department SWAT team, are searching for 32-year-old David Alexander, who is 5’7”, weighs 180 lbs, and has brown eyes, originally from Hattiesburg.
