TN-Hart team concludes operations in storm zone
SUMMARY: First responders and power crews from Middle Tennessee have been actively working in storm-affected areas of East Tennessee. Teams deployed to Irwin, Tennessee, successfully rescued 25 residents from floodwaters and have since returned home. Operations included delivering supplies to first responders and conducting water rescues. Middle Tennessee Electric has sent 21 men to assist Appalachian Electric Cooperative in restoring power.
