SUMMARY: The high school football season kicked off with exciting Thursday night games. In the annual Maroon Bowl, East Webster dominated Yur with a final score of 35-6, highlighted by a touchdown from running back D. Bingham. Over in Boonville, the Northeast Tigers faced off against the East Central Warriors, with the Warriors winning 23-14 after a strong performance from their quarterback, Landon Sims. Meanwhile, the ICC Indians secured a close victory against Hines Community College, ending 10-7, thanks to a crucial interception from alumni Drew Rousey, starting their season at 1-0 under coach Travis Mak.
