Thousands across the Pine Belt have voted via absentee ballot
SUMMARY: Today marked the conclusion of two weeks of in-person absentee voting. Raven Little reported that circuit clerk offices throughout the Pine Belt experienced a steady flow of voters taking advantage of this opportunity. Over 3,000 absentee ballots have already been cast, with more than 3,600 in total across counties. In Lamar County, the circuit clerk reported 3,375 absentee ballots received, with 211 cast today alone. Marion County noted over 2,000 ballots, while Covington County voters also engaged in absentee opportunities. Remember, mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day to be counted.
