Hattiesburg couple makes 1st appearance
SUMMARY: John and Randa Pitman, known as the Pine Bell couple, are facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder and attempted first-degree murder. They appeared in court, where bond was set at $100,000 each for the attempted murder charges, plus $50,000 each for conspiracy. The Pitmans are prohibited from contacting the victim or the victim’s family. The allegations stem from a January incident in which they allegedly conspired to murder an unidentified individual.

Hub City veterans groups leading effort to collect donations for Florida relief
