Tampa troopers rescue dog left tied up before #HurricaneMilton hits
SUMMARY: This morning in Richmond, temperatures are chilly, sitting in the 40s, with clear skies and a sunny outlook for the day ahead. Hurricane Milton is currently a category four storm with 155 mph winds, making its way toward Florida’s Gulf Coast. While the hurricane is expected to weaken as it approaches land, areas such as Tampa and Sarasota are still at risk for life-threatening storm surges. For local weather, expect a pleasant 74 degrees today, with cool overnight lows. Next week brings autumnal temperatures, with highs dropping into the 50s and the potential for frost.
Hurricane Milton looks imposing. Long range modeling suggests another possible storm may follow next week. Keep eyes on the tropics. Meanwhile, a pleasant morning with a warm, lovely afternoon is in the forecast for central Kentucky, so get out and enjoy it. I hear apple picking is lovely this time of year!
