SUMMARY: The USA Track and Field Junior Olympics begins tomorrow in Jackson, with over 1,500 athletes from four southern states participating. SUMMARY: Authorities have called off the search for Clovis Parker, a 56-year-old man missing from Winston County, due to dangerous heat. Sheriff Mike Perkins stated that Parker was last seen on foot near the 2300 block of Height Mo Road after leaving his home last night. Law enforcement utilized infrared drones and began their search at 6:00 AM, even deploying a canine unit, which had to be withdrawn due to the extreme heat. Parker was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, red shorts, and flip-flops. He is 5'6″ with black hair and gray eyes. If spotted, call 911 immediately.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 56-year-old Winston County man.
