Explaining the process of flushing out discolored, murky water in Porter
SUMMARY: KPRC 2 is covering efforts to resolve water issues in Porter, as crews prepare to revalve the community’s water system. President of Infomark, Todd Burr, explains that they will bifurcate the district to improve water quality and reduce discoloration residents have been experiencing. Flushing hydrants will also occur to eliminate discolored water, which may temporarily appear in homes. Burr advises residents to run taps for 15-30 seconds to clear any discoloration. The changes come after a new water feed caused these issues. Ongoing monitoring will help ensure water quality improvements for the community.
Officials are expected to flush out the brown, murky water Porter residents have been dealing with for quite some time. This comes after KPRC 2 has reported on the continued problem twice.
