SUMMARY: Broadway musical “Little Women” faced accessibility issues for guests at Thalia Mara Hall, the venue’s elevators and escalators are old and often out of order. The city hasn’t been able to solve the problem despite earmarked money from the budget. Improvements have been made, but more needs to be done. Arden Barnett of Ardenland Productions said that the venue is a treasure for Jackson and efforts need to be made to preserve it. Several shows, including Kevin Hart and Theo Von, have been announced for the venue, making it urgent to address the accessibility issues now.

Jackson Democratic mayoral primary heads to runoff
