Texas Secretary of State touts election security as state surpasses 18 million registered voters

Dallas County has paid $1.5M for 2014 murder case that still hasn't reached trial

Frustration is growing among members and as justice remains elusive, with McDermott released on bond in 2017. The case is currently for trial in January, but many see the prolonged delays as a failure of the justice system.

Northwest Houston residents fed up with neighborhood eyesore
