Texas attorney tried to buy Tarrant County inmates' unborn babies, sheriff's office says

The investigation revealed Hall’s questionable activities at the jail, attempting to secure custody of inmates’ unborn for her agency, Adoptions International Incorporated, which had its accreditation suspended and canceled in 2019. Hall was on July 23 and has since been released on a $50,000 bond.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office accused 68-year-old Jody Hall of “paying money to multiple pregnant Tarrant County inmates for the purpose of placing their unborn children up for adoption with [her] agency.”
