Experts have reported calls about two different species of termites, both of which can cause significant harm to homes. To prevent infestations, experts recommend keeping outside lights off and closing blinds to avoid attracting termites. Subterranean termites are particularly destructive, causing billions of dollars in damage each year. It is advised to have a professional inspection done to protect against infestations before they become severe. Taking preventative measures and acting quickly if termites are spotted can help defend your home against these pests.
