SUMMARY: The speaker shares their enthusiasm for theaters in Meridian, particularly the historic Temple Theater and the old Mississippi Opera House (now Riley Center). The footage features Frank Evans performing on the restored Morton theater organ, which has been under restoration for about 30 years. The organ will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2027, and there are hopes for a special concert to honor its legacy and the theater’s history.
