Teen killed in possible drag racing crash in Channelview

Man accused in deadly shooting on Beechnut Street was out on bond for road rage incident, HPD says
SUMMARY: 28-year-old Carlos Chavez, accused of a fatal road rage shooting on November 7, appeared in court today. Chavez, already out on bond for four prior cases, allegedly shot into a vehicle carrying 23-year-old Jadrien Edwards, his daughter, and another passenger.
