Organizers emphasized the need to give back and help others, with participants expressing gratitude for the assistance. Many said it felt like extended family, particularly for military members away from home.

On Saturday morning, thousands of free turkeys and other Thanksgiving food staples were given out to neighbors all over San Antonio.

SUMMARY: The state may be planning another sweep of unhoused individuals in downtown, as notices were recently distributed requiring them to leave within 24 hours, warning of potential legal action for noncompliance.
