Each household is allowed ten sandbags, which are being filled using a conveyor system and distributed to cars. This proactive measure aims to ensure safety as Helen strengthens in the Gulf of Mexico, with preparations extending along the West Coast and up through the Big Bend region of Florida. Fortunately, favorable weather conditions are allowing residents to complete their preparations effectively. This community effort underscores the importance of readiness as the storm approaches.
