Talented class will be celebrated at Sophomore Night
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Gulf Coast will celebrate its impressive women’s basketball sophomore class during Sophomore Night as the first-place Bulldogs host Northwest Mississippi at Dantzler Arena. The celebration kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, with ticket and streaming information available online. The celebrated sophomores, responsible for 35 wins over their two seasons, include Tytiana Buckley, Je’Mya Evans, Simaru Fields, and Ja’Sharreah Hunt. The Bulldogs, standing at 18-4, lead the conference and will play a postseason game on March 11. Their last victory was against Meridian, with Buckley and Fields leading the team in recent games. Upcoming matches include Southwest Mississippi and the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament Quarterfinals.
