Swing states hurting from inflation, want more from Trump, Harris on energy policies | National
SUMMARY: New polling data reveals that swing state voters, feeling the impact of high prices, want presidential candidates to address energy policies. A Morning Consult/American Petroleum Institute survey shows 81%-86% of voters in key states like Arizona and Pennsylvania find daily costs “financially painful,” and 88%-94% are worried about inflation, which has risen over 20% since Biden’s presidency. Most respondents support increased domestic oil and gas production, and oppose government bans on gas appliances and vehicles. As the vice presidential debate approaches, nearly 90% of voters seek more discussions on energy from candidates like Trump and Harris.

I-Team: History of Events at the BioLab plant
SUMMARY: The biolab in Rockdale, operational since 1973, has a long history of environmental incidents impacting the community, particularly along Interstate 20. Investigations reveal that the facility has caused numerous highway shutdowns and evacuations due to toxic chemical emissions. Notable incidents include a significant evacuation in 2004 affecting 500 residents and multiple events in the following years resulting in property damage and health risks for workers and first responders. The Environmental Protection Agency has documented these hazardous fumes over the past two decades, raising concerns about regulatory compliance and the impact on public safety and the environment.
