Suspended Woodlands doctor responds to indecent assault claims as Memorial Hermann faces lawsuit
SUMMARY: Dr. Kiah Soan, a cardiologist in The Woodlands, faces multiple allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct involving at least six women, with new claims emerging from a lawsuit against Memorial Hermann hospital. One victim, referred to as Jane Doe, alleges that Soan fondled her while she was sedated post-surgery. Soan has been suspended since his arrest in February on five felony counts of indecent assault, denying all allegations. His past includes multiple reprimands from the Texas Medical Board for misconduct and health care fraud accusations settled in 2022. The lawsuit alleges negligence by Memorial Hermann for allowing Soan’s practice despite his history.
A Woodlands-area doctor is firing back at claims that he inappropriately touched several of his patients as another victim has come forward and claimed she too was groped under his care.

Man at the center of Austin woman's murder has extensive criminal background | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Noah Matta, 36, has a lengthy criminal history in Travis County, with around 40 charges since 2006, including DWI, assault, and theft. Despite numerous arrests, many of his offenses resulted in minimal sentences, such as probation or short jail time. Recently, Matta was involved in an incident where a gun was fired during a struggle, resulting in a woman’s death, leading to charges of aggravated robbery. Critics argue that lenient treatment of repeat offenders undermines public safety, advocating for stricter enforcement of the law to protect the community and improve quality of life.
The man at the center of a homicide investigation this week has an extensive criminal history, court records revealed.
