Support group provides help for Mississippians living with diabetes

Angela Buress-Stewart, living with type two diabetes since the ’90s, received a kidney transplant after going into renal failure. Nicky Yeatman, a registered dietician and diabetes educator, emphasizes taking small steps for improvement and attends a diabetes support group that meets every third Tuesday of the month.
