www.thecentersquare.com – By Bethany Blankley | The Center Square contributor – 2024-11-25 07:42:00

SUMMARY: Missouri’s congressional delegation is demanding answers from President Biden about the release of violent Venezuelan prison gang members from the Tren De Aragua (TdA) in the state. TdA members, involved in crimes like murder, human trafficking, and drug smuggling, are linked to over 100 law enforcement investigations. After two TdA members were stopped in Missouri, ICE advised their release due to Venezuela’s refusal to accept deported citizens. Lawmakers criticized Biden for not pressuring Venezuela and for releasing dangerous individuals into communities. They also urged him to disclose the number of TdA members still in the U.S. awaiting deportation.

St. Louis forecast: Warm and breezy Sunday

Published

on

www.youtube.com – KSDK News – 2024-11-24 09:47:25

SUMMARY: Today in St. Louis, expect sunny skies with minimal clouds and temperatures around 52°F, warming up to 65°F with a breezy day. Overnight, light showers are expected around 9-10 p.m., clearing by Monday morning. The weather will turn cooler midweek, with temperatures falling to 45°F on Wednesday, followed by Thanksgiving showers, which will end by midday. Thursday’s high will be 41°F, and Friday will bring chilly conditions. A hard freeze is expected on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures in the mid-20s. Overall, the week ahead will be colder, signaling the arrival of winter.

The warming trend continues for Sunday and even parts of Monday as well. The warm up comes at a small cost, it will be windy. Winds will gust out of the south up to 30 mph at times today.

Light showers will track through overnight. Showers will be out of the way in time for the Monday morning commute.

Tuesday looks dry but mostly cloudy. Our next system that arrives by the middle of next week looks responsible for rain and snow in the Midwest. Right now, we look to be on the rainy side of this. We will monitor this as it gets closer, but right now, the air doesn’t seem cold enough to support snow locally. While we may see a few flakes of snow mix in at some point, this looks to be more of a regional travel issue.
