Superior Catfish hosts ribbon cutting for $20 million facility expansion

SUMMARY: Catfish producer Superior Catfish in Noxubee County, Mississippi, has celebrated a $20m expansion of its facilities. The move will allow for two more processing lines and an increase in production to between 550,000 and 600,000 pounds per week. The company currently produces around 400,000 pounds per week. The expansion will also mean more jobs, with 25 new roles expected to be created. The aim is to develop a sustainable processing facility and expand the catfish industry in the region for future generations.
