Super Bowl winning NFL player returns to Vicksburg

SUMMARY: Former Patriot and Tennessee Titan, Malcolm Butler, returned to his old high school, Vicksburg High School, for the 9th annual Free Malcolm Butler Football Camp. The camp aims to develop skills for current and aspiring players while also inspiring the younger generation. Butler, a Super Bowl-winning defensive back and a product of Vicksburg and Hinds Community College, was joined by active college football players from nearby Alcorn State to coach the campers. This annual event holds special significance for Butler, who marks it on his calendar like he used to for big NFL games.

Vicksburg High School and Hinds CC product Malcolm Butler was back at his old high school Saturday morning for his annual free football camp for kids. This event brings in hundreds of kids from the area and Butler is always excited and proud to put on this camp that is going in it’s 9th year. Butler is a 7 year NFL pro who made the famous interception for the Patriots at the goal line against the Seahawks to secure a Super Bowl title.
