The Alabama State Department of Education announced that students can apply for free to participating colleges throughout the week, including institutions in Alabama and neighboring states. A complete list of participating colleges is available on WHNT.com. However, it’s important to note that some applications may have specific requirements.

SUMMARY: An Arizona woman, 22-year-old Rainey S. Sherman, is in custody after a high-speed chase that ended with both her and a deputy in the hospital. The incident began when a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted Sherman swerving across multiple lanes on I-65 North and attempted to pull her over.
