SUMMARY: Davis Bayou Gulf Islands National Seashore Park in Ocean Springs is offering two new ranger-led programs this summer. “All About the Alligators” is a weekday tour that aims to educate visitors about the misunderstood apex predator. The program includes exploring the history and preservation of the American Gator. “Kayaking 101” and the “Kayak Bayou Tour” provide an opportunity to learn how to kayak, paddle around the bayou, and experience the open water. The tours are free and open to everyone, but reservations are required for the kayak tours. All necessary equipment is provided.

Southern Miss to Host Week of Free Band Concerts for the Whole Family
