Students learn about future career opportunities
SUMMARY: Over 500 students from 11 schools in Mississippi attended the annual career interview day hosted by FORGE at the EMCC Communiversity. The event allowed students to learn about future career opportunities and network with professionals from over 100 companies who offered various jobs in the workforce. The focus was on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness skills, with an emphasis on finding mentors and polishing personal brands. Some students also had the opportunity to interview with companies for potential job offers. Overall, the event aimed to help students leave feeling more confident, with resumes built and ready for job hunting.
