Student injured in Wednesday school bus collision
SUMMARY: This morning, a crash involving a Jones County school bus occurred at the intersection of Highway 588 and Monroe Road, resulting in one person being injured. MSDH encourages vaccines to fight respiratory viruses
SUMMARY: As Mississippi enters its typical respiratory virus season, the Mississippi State Department of Health is urging everyone to receive updated vaccinations. Respiratory viruses like flu, RSV, and COVID usually see heightened rates in fall and winter, partly due to increased indoor gatherings. The MSDH recommends that individuals aged 6 months and older get the updated flu and COVID vaccines each season. Additionally, protection against RSV is advised for infants and older adults.
