SUMMARY: SWAC Media Day is happening tomorrow, featuring several in-state teams. Jackson State faces big questions in TC Taylor’s first year, including whether they can maintain their position at the top of the conference and who will be their starting quarterback. Alcorn State, previously on top of the SWAC, aims to regain their position while also seeking a new starting QB. Jackson Democratic mayoral primary heads to runoff

SUMMARY: In Jackson’s Democratic mayoral primary, Senator John Horn nearly avoided a runoff despite low voter turnout.
