Stolen Corvette returned after pursuit exceeding 165 mph
SUMMARY: A $50,000 Corvette was stolen from Canon Motors in West Point, Mississippi, in a bold theft. The incident, which has drawn significant attention, involved thieves breaking into the dealership and taking the car keys. Remarkably, the 2019 Corvette, lacking wheels, was fitted with new ones by the thieves and driven off the lot. Authorities recovered the vehicle in Hamilton, Alabama, after a high-speed chase exceeding 165 mph, during which the suspects abandoned the car. West Point Police are collaborating with law enforcement to apprehend those responsible, urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Mayor provides update on new chiller at Thalia Mara Hall
