Stewpot in need of bottled water
SUMMARY: Stewpot Ministries in Jackson urgently needs bottled water. The organization supports over 100 children and teens in a summer camp, besides running a food pantry and community kitchen. To help neighbors stay cool, Stewpot has extended its hours. They use about 40 cases of water daily across their various ministries, including shelters and summer camps. The executive director emphasizes hydration to combat heat illnesses. Donations of bottled water are accepted Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM at their Capitol Street location, or through Amazon deliveries.
