State Championship Preview-Velma Jackson Falcons
SUMMARY: In the upcoming state championship game, the Velma Jackson Falcons have the opportunity for a perfect season with a 13-0 record. They overcame their first deficit in the last game and feel battle-tested and ready for the final game of the year. It’s a chance for the football program to make history as they have never been a part of an official state championship before. The team is looking forward to the opportunity to make history and is hoping for another historic win in the upcoming game.
The Velma Jackson Falcons are on the brink of making history on Thursday. The Falcons will face Biggersville for the 1A state title at Ole Miss. If the Falcons win it will be their first official MHSAA state title in football. This year’s team has been close in the past but they feel they are ready now more than ever to bring some hardware back to Camden.
