Southern Miss introduces Christian Ostrander, Biloxi alum Colt Keith promoted to Triple-A

SUMMARY: Christian Ostrander has been named the new head coach of the Southern Miss baseball team, succeeding Scott Berry. Ostrander, who has been with the team for six years as the pitching coach and associate head coach, is taking over a successful program after the team’s strong season and Super Regional appearance. Ostrander plans to continue the team’s success and build on the foundation that has been established. In other baseball news, Colt Keith, a former player for Biloxi Alum, has been promoted to the Toledo Mud Hens, the AAA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. Keith has been performing exceptionally well at the plate and has been named the organization’s top ranked prospect.
