City of Long Beach moves forward with inner bulkhead wall project

March 29: Auditions for Carey Dinner Theatre’s 51st season

Introducing our WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, Stone’s Lane Breland
SUMMARY: Lane Breland, a talented tennis player from Stone High School, is this week’s WXXV Student Athlete. Breland, who started playing tennis in 7th grade, has reached the state championship three times but is determined to end his senior season with a victory. He values perseverance, learning to never give up even in tough situations. Breland enjoys doubles for its intensity and team spirit. He’s optimistic about his team’s chances at the state championship and plans to continue his tennis career at Co-Lin Community College after graduation, where he feels the team atmosphere mirrors that of Stone County.
