South Mississippi schools recognized for reading achievements

Five schools in Gautier, Mississippi, within the Pascagoula-Gautier School District, have received the Emerging Science of Reading Awards from the Mississippi Department of Education. This is the second time these schools have been recognized for their efforts in promoting reading among students. The awards highlight the schools’ commitment to making reading a top priority for both students and teachers.

11 elementary schools across the state are recognized for their reading achievements and five are on the coast.

Pathways2Possibilities Career Expo showcasing career paths for local eighth-graders

City of Ocean Springs announes new city-wide infrastructure projects
