Sorority chapter stages 'Delta Community Impact Day'
SUMMARY: The Hattiesburg chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosted an early spring party for the Hattiesburg community. They also held a community impact day at Chain Park with activities for children. The event included arts, crafts, and support for physical and mental health. The sorority organized a blood drive, and vendors offered products to support the community. Despite challenges due to COVID-19, the sorority has been organizing community events for at least four years. They started this year’s event with a 5K race that was exciting for participants. More than 20 vendors participated in the event.
