SUMMARY: Spring is here in Mississippi, prompting many to venture out on the state’s waterways. Before heading out, it’s crucial to review boater safety skills. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) offers the course online or in person, with various locations available year-round. Successful completion may also help reduce insurance premiums. For more information, contact MDWFP or check their website. Enjoy the beautiful weather, but prioritize safety on the water!
