SNAP increases – and changes to who qualifies – take effect Oct. 1

Unlike previous adjustments, this increase is relatively modest due to a lower inflation rate. Additionally, new work requirements will impact able-bodied adults without dependents aged 53 and 54; they must prove employment or training to qualify, similar to younger adults. Exemptions apply to certain groups, including veterans and the homeless.

All aboard Delta flight survive after plane flips while landing in Toronto
