Sex allegations mount against pediatrician; former patient speaks out
SUMMARY: A lawsuit against former pediatrician Craig Spiegel, initiated by attorney Ben Crump and local attorney Kayla Onder, focuses on allegations of trading drugs for sexual favors from patients. At a news conference, a former patient, Mallory, emphasized that abuses should be held accountable, claiming Spiegel exploited women and children under the pretense of medical treatment. SSM Health, which previously housed Spiegel, denied any employment relationship with him. Federal prosecutors revealed that at least 25 individuals received controlled substances from Spiegel in exchange for sexual acts.
