Simone Biles dominates vault, wins 3rd gold medal in Paris
SUMMARY: Simone Biles continued her exceptional performance at the Paris Games, winning her third gold medal in a week with a victory in the vault, bringing her total Olympic gold medals to seven and overall to ten. She scored an average of 15.300, featuring her signature Yurchenko double pike, the hardest vault in women’s gymnastics. Team USA’s Jade Carey secured the bronze medal. Biles, who had won golds in the team final and all-around earlier in the week, still has two events left: balance beam and floor exercise.
