Shooting victim speaks out
SUMMARY: Richard Froelicher, a home insurance inspector, was shot by Steven Jones after refusing to get into a car on March 29th. Froelicher called 911 and underwent a four-hour surgery at UMMC. Jones was later arrested for allegedly terrorizing South Jackson by accosting people and taking them to ATMs. Froelicher’s life has been drastically changed, with physical injuries and emotional trauma. He plans to stay strong for his wife and five children as he recovers. Despite the challenges ahead, Froelicher is determined not to let the bad guys win and to return to his normal life in Brandon.

East Union girls powerlifting continues streak of dominance
