Shooting victim found dead Thursday in Webster County

SUMMARY: In Webster County, a possible homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead with a gunshot wound in her home. The deputy coroner, Jonathan Skilton, discovered the woman’s body and believes she was in her 40s. Her body will be sent to the crime lab for an autopsy. The Sheriff, Adam David Gore, has not provided any information about whether foul play is suspected or if anyone has been arrested. Grove Park undergoing $1.3M renovations
