Severe storm aftermath
SUMMARY: During a recent storm, an elderly couple, Robert and Faye Hoyt, narrowly escaped death when large trees fell through their home. Their alarm system went off, and they managed to escape with only a few belongings before their house was destroyed. They were unable to get through to 911 and had to rely on their children for help. The couple is now staying with family while their home is inspected for repairs, unsure if it can be salvaged. Despite the devastation, the Hoyts feel blessed to be alive after the harrowing experience caused by the storm.
