Several Mardi Gras celebrations to be held in northeast Mississippi

SUMMARY: Get ready for Mardi Gras – New Orleans is the place to be, but other cities also have celebrations planned. The video shows last year’s parade and this year, the city is holding its fifth annual Mardi Gras parade. Festivities start with a ball at the American Legion Post for those 21 and older on Friday night, followed by a downtown street party and the parade on Saturday. Ponit Talk is also hosting a Mardi Gras parade starting early Saturday morning, with lineup at the junior high school and the parade going down Main Street and back to the school.

Different places around Mississippi will hold Mardi Gras celebrations.
