North Carolina fugitive wanted for child sex crimes captured in Richland

SUMMARY: Mark Jacques Greene, a man with eight felony warrants for child sex crimes in North Carolina, was in Richland after U.S. Marshals and local tracked him to a hotel. Greene was identified loading his vehicle but fled when attempted to detain him. He later surrendered without incident after being surrounded by enforcement, K-9 units. Greene faces charges including two counts of child rape and four counts of statutory sex offenses. his arrest, authorities uncovered a credit card fraud operation he was allegedly involved in. He will be extradited back to North Carolina for trial.
