Second day of Timothy Herrington capital murder trail wraps up in Oxford
SUMMARY: In the Timothy Harrington capital murder trial, prosecutors presented surveillance footage believed to be the last sighting of victim Jimmy Jay Lee. On day two, Old Miss Police Captain Jane Mahan testified about dispatching officers when Jay Lee went missing and detailed his last known activities, including leaving his apartment on July 8. Two days later, his car was discovered abandoned. Mahan discussed Jay Lee’s social life, mentioning a friend who warned him about an aggressive individual. Harrington is charged with kidnapping and murder, allegedly to conceal his relationship with Jay Lee. The defense challenged the credibility of certain witnesses.
