Search underway for alleged killer with Ky. ties after man told 911 bear chased him off a cliff
SUMMARY: Authorities are searching for Nicholas Hamlet, wanted in connection with a body found in Telo Plains, Tennessee. The investigation began after a man identifying as Brandon Andrade called 911, claiming he fell off a cliff while fleeing from a bear. First responders discovered a body and Andrade’s ID at the scene, but later determined the ID was stolen. The deceased was not Andrade but Hamlet, who is also wanted in Alabama for a parole violation. Hamlet is now sought for first-degree murder and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should contact 911 immediately.
Reports say the man may have ties to multiple states, including Kentucky.
