The materials needed for this experiment are vinegar, baking soda, dish soap, water, and a Dr Pepper bottle (decorated as desired). First, they mix baking soda and water to create a paste, then add dish soap for extra foaminess. Food coloring is added for visual effect. The mixture is poured into the volcano, followed by vinegar to create a chemical reaction with the baking soda. The final result is a foamy eruption. This experiment is easy to do at home using common household items.
