Three injured in crash on Clinton Boulevard
SUMMARY: Jackson police are investigating a crash on Clinton Boulevard that injured at least three people. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on November 18, involving a Chevrolet Camaro and a Chevrolet Tahoe. Detective Tommie Brown reported that the Camaro crossed into oncoming traffic, leading to the collision. The driver and passenger of the Camaro were hospitalized, with one suffering life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Tahoe was also taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Early week rain, end of week cool down

Multiple shots fired at a school bus in Columbus
SUMMARY: On November 18, a Columbus Municipal School District bus was shot at while transporting ten children home, although no students were injured. The incident occurred around 3:00 PM on MLK Drive, with a bullet striking the bus’s tire. Witnesses reported multiple shots fired in an exchange believed to be between occupants of a vehicle and individuals at a nearby residence. One individual was reportedly injured in the shooting. Authorities are searching for a suspect, Martez Meeks, linked to a dark Dodge Charger, who may face charges including 11 counts of aggravated assault. Law enforcement has increased their presence in the area.
