A grant will fund this initiative in elementary schools such as Carver, West Hills Park, V.I.W., and Crestwood, along with two middle schools, Northwest and Magnolia. The goal is to enrich education by equipping classrooms with new musical instruments, allowing children to explore music during the school day. This initiative aims to inspire students to envision themselves in high school bands and possibly earning college scholarships through music. Community partners are planning future initiatives for schools in Meridian.
