SUMMARY: Meridian , in collaboration with Dr. Amy Carter and the Save the Music Foundation, have developed a plan to music education and instruments to every student. A grant will fund this initiative in elementary schools such as Carver, Hills Park, V.I.W., and Crestwood, along with two middle schools, Northwest and Magnolia. The goal is to enrich education by equipping classrooms with new musical instruments, allowing to explore music during the school day. This initiative aims to inspire to envision themselves in high school bands and possibly earning college scholarships through music. Community partners are planning future initiatives for schools in Meridian.

DOJ investigating the Rankin County Sheriff's Department

Interview: Autism organization offering sensory-friendly film in Corinth
